I’m the PixieChick, the BookFairy’s best friend. I’m going to be blogging with her! Occasionally I’ll blog about books, but I’ll be talking about other stuff. I’ll basically talk about anything, politics, entertainment, school, advice, you name it, just request it! I’ll be adding some pages to the blog to separate the BookFairy’s awesome book reviews and my hopefully awesome-as-well posts. If you need to contact me you can email: email@example.com. Enjoy the blog!
They say every man has a breaking point-every man can be pushed off the edge. Scott Remington entered EDEN with the heart of a lion. He forged glory in the furnace of war. But on the heels of dawn, darkness awaits. Only when stretched to the limit will a man truly learn who he is. That limit is about to be breached. Lines will be crossed. Sides will be chosen. And faith will be put to the test. Will the righteous prevail?
This is the fast paced sequel to dawn of destiny and in my opinion this book is even better then the first! The character development was amazing, you really got to know the caracter through this book. Moreover as this book is an action thriller you blood and guts junkies get more then enough of that! This book has more themes centered outside the war then the first novel which adds to the development of the series while still keeping it w gory war front action packed Novel. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book, every page was filled with more and more Juicy little tidbits that had you hooked and kept you turning. So if you have not read the first book, Dawn of Destiny, and you’re a stickler for a good action book, go pick it up right way! However; if you have read the first novel and loved it even half as much as I did you need to go pick up Outlaw Triger! Enjoy!
Some men go to war for the glory. Some men go to war to escape. For Scott Remington, war is entirely different. It is a belief. It is a calling. It is a destiny. Leaving everything behind-his fiancée, his future, his life-he embarks on a mission of faith into a battle he can barely understand. This is his story. This is his war. This is only the beginning.
For all those syfy alien loving book readers out there this book is defiantly for you! It’s packed with action and aliens and has a very well developed plot. I had the pleasure of being sent the audio book and at first I wasn’t a fan of the narrorators tone but soon got used to the cool calm demeanor of his voice. The story has strong vivid imagery that places you in the midst of battle along with the carachters. This book has tones of military, action, aliens, suspence and so much more and I recommend picking it up and or listening to the audiobook! I look forward to reading the second installment in this series
13-year-old Teodor was taken by the vicious Battle Borgs of Dome and now he must fight to survive.
13-year-old Guy Erma has been offered a chance to fight for his place in the Dome Elite. Only who will be his opponent? Will he face a Battle Borg of Dome?
Once they were heroes. These men died as heroes in battle. Now they have been reincarnated as the fearsome vanguard of the Dome Elite. They are the Battle Borgs of Dome.
Two boys as different as any two boys might be. They face the same enemy, the same danger, the same fear – dare they trust each other?
Action is the forefront of the second book in he series, as we find out more of guys confusing back story. The world is still difficult to understand and there can stand to be more character development, but it is slowly coming together and as you keep reading you understand the world in which the carachters reside with better clarity. The Valvanchi family also comes farther into the light in this story which ties the story together in my opinion. I still think the writing quality can be approved on, however if that doesn’t bother you the action is very well written and worth overlooking the structural errors in the set up of this book. If you decide to read this book go in to it with an open mind and stick with it, it might just surprise you! Enjoy!
Brilliant, funny, sweet and heartbreaking. Climax is a great love story and a highly enjoyable read! George has really taken romance to a new level with this series. Her final book will give readers everything they crave and more! Cherry Adair, New York Times Bestselling Author. Kate Mitchell has never forgiven herself for breaking Nick Lavigne’s heart. Now he’s back and he’s moved on, and it’s affecting Kate’s life more than she’s willing to admit.Kate Mitchell has everything. She’s the head of a crazy successful publishing house, engaged to the traffic-stopping sexy Mac Ellis and she’s about to sign one of the biggest authors of her career.
I mean what are the odds this girl runs into the former love of her life though publishing a book!? This book is an amazing conclusion to the saga! It’s dramatic and ironic and it keeps you on your toes, who will she pick, who does she love? Is it Mac or is it Nick who swears he’s over his former fiancé? Series of events throw Kate and other characters in this book into a state of turmoil and the end point isn’t clear, and that what makes this series so good! You never know what’s going to happen it’s so unpredictable and that’s what makes a good read in my opinion because if I can see the ending by page 50 I really don’t see the point in wasting my time on the other 500 pages, know what I mean? But this book is most certainly not one of those and is a book you should read and if you haven’t read the first books you should read those as well! Enjoy!

Guy Erma and the Son of the Empire is a very… interesting novel. During the book there were several plot twists and pieces that were a tad difficult to keep up with due to changing personas of characters and settings. I don’t want to give anything away, and quite frankly it was so confusing I couldn’t understand some of it. I think that if I were to go through the book again, annotate and highlight everything that was confusing or weird, the book would be all yellow. It definitely wasn’t the most well-written book I’ve ever read and honestly I don’t believe I’d read it again. On a positive note, there was large use of nice vocabulary, And the characters were very likable, also with a little more world building the book would be much more understandable and enjoyable.
What did I think of the characters? The better question would be what did I understand about the characters? As soon as I began to comprehend and form opinions about the characters, an unexpected event blew the book out of proportion. Personally speaking, I think a little more description and imagery would have gone a long long way with the characters. Its not that the characters were necessarily bad I actually liked them very much by the end of the book. Returning to the plot, it was just…odd. I couldn’t understand why things were happening or what caused them because there were little to no explanations on anything, it was like thing just happened in your face out of nowhere: BAM! BAM! BAM! This book has so much potential but it just needs to be revised with more descriptive imagery, explanations, and TLC. This book bored me and I wouldn’t read it again; however, this book has the potential to be the next bestseller, it just needs to be improved.

This was a very cute book and even though I’m not a child I throughly enjoyed it. I had a fantastic time reading this to my niece and looking at the pictures together! On the topic of the pictures I thought they were very well done, and reason enough alone to pick this book out! The adventure was interesting and compelling . Given the chance I would read this again, it’s a nice way to keep a child interested and even yourself if you’re looking for a cute book to read that will make you feel like a child again, so I would pick this book up if you come across it! Enjoy!
