Epic 2: Outlaw Trigger by, Lee Stephen

They say every man has a breaking point-every man can be pushed off the edge. Scott Remington entered EDEN with the heart of a lion. He forged glory in the furnace of war. But on the heels of dawn, darkness awaits. Only when stretched to the limit will a man truly learn who he is. That limit is about to be breached. Lines will be crossed. Sides will be chosen. And faith will be put to the test. Will the righteous prevail?

This is the fast paced sequel to dawn of destiny and in my opinion this book is even better then the first! The character development was amazing, you really got to know the caracter through this book. Moreover as this book is an action thriller you blood and guts junkies get more then enough of that! This book has more themes centered outside the war then the first novel which adds to the development of the series while still keeping it w gory war front action packed Novel. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book, every page was filled with more and more Juicy little tidbits that had you hooked and kept you turning. So if you have not read the first book, Dawn of Destiny, and you’re a stickler for a good action book, go pick it up right way! However; if you have read the first novel and loved it even half as much as I did you need to go pick up Outlaw Triger! Enjoy!

Dawn of Destiny, by Lee Stephen

Some men go to war for the glory. Some men go to war to escape. For Scott Remington, war is entirely different. It is a belief. It is a calling. It is a destiny. Leaving everything behind-his fiancée, his future, his life-he embarks on a mission of faith into a battle he can barely understand. This is his story. This is his war. This is only the beginning.

For all those syfy alien loving book readers out there this book is defiantly for you! It’s packed with action and aliens and has a very well developed plot. I had the pleasure of being sent the audio book and at first I wasn’t a fan of the narrorators tone but soon got used to the cool calm demeanor of his voice. The story has strong vivid imagery that places you in the midst of battle along with the carachters. This book has tones of military, action, aliens, suspence and so much more and I recommend picking it up and or listening to the audiobook! I look forward to reading the second installment in this series

Hunter. Part 2 of Guy Erma and the Son of Empire, by Sally Ann Melia

13-year-old Teodor was taken by the vicious Battle Borgs of Dome and now he must fight to survive.

13-year-old Guy Erma has been offered a chance to fight for his place in the Dome Elite. Only who will be his opponent? Will he face a Battle Borg of Dome?
Once they were heroes. These men died as heroes in battle. Now they have been reincarnated as the fearsome vanguard of the Dome Elite. They are the Battle Borgs of Dome
Two boys as different as any two boys might be. They face the same enemy, the same danger, the same fear – dare they trust each other?

Action is the forefront of the second book in he series, as we find out more of guys confusing back story. The world is still difficult to understand and there can stand to be more character development, but it is slowly coming together and as you keep reading you understand the world in which the carachters reside with better clarity. The Valvanchi family  also comes farther into the light in this story which ties the story together in my opinion. I still think the writing quality can be approved on, however if that doesn’t bother you the action is very well written and worth overlooking the structural errors in the set up of this book. If you decide to read this book go in to it with an open mind and stick with it, it might just surprise you! Enjoy!

Climax, by Christina George

Brilliant, funny, sweet and heartbreaking. Climax is a great love story and a highly enjoyable read! George has really taken romance to a new level with this series. Her final book will give readers everything they crave and more! Cherry Adair, New York Times Bestselling Author. Kate Mitchell has never forgiven herself for breaking Nick Lavigne’s heart. Now he’s back and he’s moved on, and it’s affecting Kate’s life more than she’s willing to admit.Kate Mitchell has everything. She’s the head of a crazy successful publishing house, engaged to the traffic-stopping sexy Mac Ellis and she’s about to sign one of the biggest authors of her career.
I mean what are the odds this girl runs into the former love of her life though publishing a book!? This book is an amazing conclusion to the saga! It’s dramatic and ironic and it keeps you on your toes, who will she pick, who does she love? Is it Mac or is it Nick who swears he’s over his former fiancé? Series of events throw Kate and other characters in this book into a state of turmoil and the end point isn’t clear, and that what makes this series so good! You never know what’s going to happen it’s so unpredictable and that’s what makes a good read in my opinion because if I can see the ending by page 50 I really don’t see the point in wasting my time on the other 500 pages, know what I mean? But this book is most certainly not one of those and is a book you should read and if you haven’t read the first books you should read those as well! Enjoy!

Outlander by, Diana Gabaldon

Omg I just have no words! This book as magnificent it is truly art the author brings you into a completely different time and illustrates the book so wonderfully it’s like Jamie Fraser is sitting across the room from you!
Outlander starts with Claire, who has just returned from WWII (she was a nurse) with her husband frank who was a special pops coordinator to go on a second honeymoon to reconnect. While tracing his lineage they decide to see “witches ” preform a ceremony. When they return to their hotel Claire realizes she forgot her cloak in the bushes near the ceremony they had witnessed and decides to go ack the next day. The next day she returns and gets her things, but something compelled her tot ouch the stone and BAM she’s 200+ years in the past! only she doesn’t know thy just yet. She saved by Scott warriors and treats a wounded soldier named Jamie who in tern vows to protect her. They take her back to their HQ castle type thing and present her to The Lord of that castle who in tern orders she stay as their healer as the previous one has died and no one before her has had the knowledge to replace him. She obediently submits to his orders in an effort to bye her time until she can escape and find a way back to her time. However, time drags on and as things seem impossible she is taken on a journey as a medic and before she can get to the rocks the British intercept the Scott’s and demand she be turned over to them. The only way for her to Tay safe with the scots is to have a legal contract binding her to them, marriage. And thus starts the epic love story of Jamie Fraser and Claire as she struggles to except her new life and decide between the man in the past or the man from the future.
OMG OMG OMG if you don’t have this book you need to bye it, like NOW!! I don’t even care if it’s 4 am this is a must have for a person who calls themselves a reader. This was truly breathtaking and a moving story that teaches you about loss, acceptance and the power of love.

If you have or plan to read this there is also a series on Starz network that is an amazing adaptation of the book, if like to hear opinions of the book and those who have seen the series. Does it ensure up to the book? is the book an amazing piece of fiction? What’s your favorite installment of the series?

I revived the audio book read by the author in exchange for an honest review. I thoroughly enjoyed the plot and the characters, you can see how they develop as the story progresses and how their views shift astronomically. I also enjoyed this book because it gave you an inside look to the publishing industry, of which I’m Interested in pursuing. The book was grammatically well written and structured very nicely with an easy to follow flow. The romance was believable, interesting and never predictable, which is rare for a romance novel, all in all I give the audio book 4 out of five stars because I didn’t particularly like the narrator’s tone when she was “Changing voices,” but a hard copy of the book I would give a 5 star rating! The first book in the Maya Banks’ new trilogy Keep Me Safe, by Maya banks centers around a psychic, Ramie, who can find murderers by placing her consciousness into the murder’s victim’s mind, and from there pinpointing their location. This puts a strain on her sanity and Ramie’s relationship with Caleb, but she will do anything to stop him, including going though another awful experience that just might kill her.
Maya Banks did it again! This is an amazing start to a wonderful series, within a day and a half of the publisher sending it to me I had finished the book. The story isn’t too out of this world in that it is tangible to actually happen with a great romantic flair and the characters are very real and raw. All in all I recommend this book to every romance, mystery, action, crime and Maya Banks book fan!
