The throne of fire

The gods have been making a mess out of things since they were unleashed in the human world, and as descendants of the house of life Sadie and carter haven’t had time to train because of their responsibility to keep the gods on a leash. However the god Apophis is now rising and they only have a few days to make sure he doesn’t break free and end the world as they know it, which is a difficult task, full of adventure and action.
This book is a very good book, it’s full of action and adventure with a sprinkle of romance. It keeps you on your feet and just when you think you’ve figured it out Riordan throws in a crazy plot twist! So I totally recommend this book one hundred percent. Enjoy!

The serpents shadow book review

With Apophis lose and threatening to distort the earth in three days, the magicians are on the outs , gods are vanishing like Turkey on thanksgiving, and those who remain are less ferocious then a bunny rabbit.on top of that Walt is doomed by fate, Zia is taking care of the senile sun god, and the trainees don’t know how to do anything, but break stuff. And to wrap up this colossal ball of pity the only way to stop Apophis will probably kill Sadie and Carter.
This is an amazing book, just like the first and second. It has adventure and action around every courses, and Egyptian mythology to boot. The romance is lacking in my opinion, by there none the less. This is one of my favorite books personally and I recommend it a thousand times over. Enjoy!

The red pyramid, Rick Riordan’s renown recording

While Percy deals with Zeus and his family along with their roman counterparts, carter and Sadie deal with the Egyptian side of the mythological equation. This book is in the form of a recording, but not really at the same time it tells a story, switching POV from Sadie to carter. they move and train in Brooklyn with their uncle Amos, and set their sights on the ultimate quest to defeat Apophis as well as save their father. This book is a story for the ages. It is meant for everyone 5 -105 the mythological accuracy is amazing and the story is so good you believe it could be true and see it happening right in front of you, as if your a character Riordan forgot to mention. I give this book a 9 out of 5 stars, it is truly amazing and a book everyone schools try and be exposed to. Enjoy!
